President Trump said Thursday that Nidal Hasan's execution by firing squad, set for Dec. 3 at Fort Hood, "will not be streamed," a week after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the public would be able to watch. Trump said he had thought a stream "might have been a strong deterrent" but that "many very good and well meaning people would rather not watch him die." The victims' immediate families may attend in person, he said.
