Broward Check-In Glitch Delays Election Day Voting; Elections Chief Says It Was Fixed by 7:20 a.m.
A barcode check-in system meant to give voters in redistricted precincts the correct ballot wrongly flagged ballots at several Broward County, Florida, polling places right after polls opened Tuesday, delaying voting. Supervisor of Elections Joe Scott said it was fixed by about 7:20 a.m. and that "nobody voted on the wrong ballot," but some voters left. He urged them to return before polls close at 7 p.m.
