Judge Strikes Down Medicaid Rule Narrowing 'Medically Frail' Exemption From Work Requirements, Upholds Two Other Limits
A federal judge in Boston struck down the part of a federal rule that required people in Congress's "medically frail" categories to also show their condition significantly impairs their ability to meet new Medicaid work requirements. The same ruling upheld two other limits challenged by 23 states and the District of Columbia: a 12-month cap on the medical records states may use and a limit of one self-attestation per enrollment period.
