Judge Carter's Order Says Only 7,035 of DOJ's 20,000 Flagged California Voters Had L.A. County Addresses; DOJ Appeals
U.S. District Judge David O. Carter on Wednesday denied the Justice Department's request to set aside vote-by-mail ballots from more than 20,000 people it called likely noncitizens. His 26-page order says Los Angeles County's review found 7,035 of the records had county addresses and that 71.2% of the list had never voted. The Justice Department filed a notice of appeal and a renewed request for an injunction the same day.
