A little-known Alabama super PAC has poured more than $4.1 million into ads against Democrat Rebecca Bennett in New Jersey's 7th District, and even Trenton insiders called its money hard to trace. FEC records reviewed by The Digital Free Press show where its paperwork leads: to the firm of the Congressional Leadership Fund's own treasurer, to a $4.15 million CLF check, and to a same-day $150,000 from a Louisiana developer at the center of an $83 million Florida land deal.
