The Trump administration is using the Defense Production Act to put up to $42 million behind the Constitution Pipeline, a 125-mile natural gas line from Pennsylvania to New York that New York regulators blocked in 2016. Energy Secretary Chris Wright says it will lower costs and reduce blackout risks across the Northeast.
