The Department of Homeland Security added three related Chinese genomics companies, BGI Group, BGI Genomics and MGI Tech, to the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act Entity List, saying they support genetic testing in Xinjiang with the regional government. Starting Oct. 29, their goods are presumed barred from entering the United States unless importers prove otherwise.
