A federal judge in Manhattan ordered ICE to abide by an agency official's statement that no flights are planned this week to deport Afghan nationals to Afghanistan or Pakistan. The government consented to the temporary restraining order, read by The Digital Free Press, after a New York legal aid group sued over removals it said could begin as early as Nov. 3. The order expires Saturday.
