Israel’s Security Agency revealed a series of terror investigations in the Negev, including five Bedouin residents of Segev Shalom who allegedly planned an armed cell modeled on Palestinian terror battalions in Judea and Samaria, Israel National News reported. The suspects allegedly plotted attacks on security forces, the Segev Shalom police station and Beersheba’s central bus station; 72 Negev and southern Israel residents have been detained since the start of 2026, with about 50 indicted.
Trump administration cuts Microsoft off from major visa program, accusing it of fraud:
The Trump administration is suspending Microsoft from the PERM program that lets foreign workers move from work visas to green cards, the New York Post reported. “For every worker that Microsoft laid off, they replaced that worker with one and a half foreign indentured servants,” Vice President JD Vance said, as Labor Secretary Keith Sonderling added Cognizant, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL, Capgemini and Adobe to the suspension.

Vice President JD Vance announced that Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Brown, the University of Pittsburgh, UC Davis, Caltech, Arizona State and MIT are under federal investigation for allegedly exploiting the J-1 visa program to undercut American grad students and researchers, the New York Post reported. “Something weird is going on at these universities,” Vance said, as the Labor Department set up a visa fraud strike team and sent subpoenas to the schools.
Maduro and wife charged with conspiring to torture Americans:
Manhattan federal prosecutors unsealed a new indictment Thursday accusing ousted Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores of conspiring to torture detainees, including US citizens, the New York Post reported. Columbia University’s John Jay Dining Hall listed a tomato-based “October 7 Blush Sauce” at its pasta station on the third anniversary of the Hamas attacks, sparking backlash from critics who said it glorified the massacre, the New York Post reported. A Russian bomb attack on Kramatorsk in eastern Ukraine killed at least 33 people and wounded 18 on a street where two city buses were operating, the New York Post reported, citing Reuters. Ukrainian officials called it a targeted strike on civilians and one of the largest single attacks this year.
