Hundreds of ballots were found piled in an open hallway at The Midnight Mission, a Skid Row homeless shelter in Los Angeles where 1,160 voters are registered, the California Post reported Monday. The shelter says ballots are normally kept behind locked doors. Bill Essayli, who leads the U.S. Attorney's Office in Los Angeles, confirmed an investigation into ballots on Skid Row but declined to discuss the shelter.

President Trump said Monday that anyone who reports voter fraud in past elections or in the Nov. 3 midterms will be paid $1 million once those responsible are arrested and convicted. He did not say how tips would be submitted or where the money would come from. The offer comes a week after the Justice Department launched a separate $10,000-to-$30,000 tip program for fraud against government programs.
